WARDROBE OF THE FUTURE

Predictions of fashion usually focus on the next season, but in September 2018 a collaborative project provided a glance into the near future, where fashion technology might take the lead. FashNerd.com created a unique experience in collaboration with MUNICH FABRIC START at the KEYHOUSE.

The “Wardrobe of the Future” was designed as a trend-led walk-in wardrobe that provided a unique experience which kind of brands have successfully merged fashion with technology. The creation of the wardrobe gave people a better understanding of how technology is being used as a tool by various fashion-forward labels and startups.

The bespoke walk-in wardrobe housed an impressive lineup of smart brands that offered an up close and personal experience and demonstrated the possibilities, advantages and potential of fashion technology.

„We wanted to bring together brands which represent what the merger of fashion with technology has achieved thus far. The brands we worked with not only gave attendees a glimpse of what could be in their future wardrobe, but it will also created a unique experience never been done before at the Keyhouse“.

The “Wardrobe of the Future” was a space that was designed from scratch. The main objective was making sure it was easily accessible to passerbys and that visitors were able to walk around freely, touch, feel and even smell the product. Designed to be both inviting and a little different from what has been done before, the space successfully created the right kind of atmosphere and attention.
